Job Description:
The Counselor reports to the Director of Career and Internship Services, and is responsible for providing current students and alumni career and experiential learning counseling through scheduled appointments and drop-in services for career counseling and for successfully placing students into credit bearing internships. Counselors organize and manage outreach opportunities, workshops, special events, and other programs for our constituents. The Counselor is responsible for a student caseload and works collaboratively with others in the department, academic departments and schools and industry on program and event planning as related to careers and internships.

Salary
Salary: $80,736.40 per year; commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The UCE-FIT Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) dictates the compensation, benefits, and conditions of employment. Hiring Salary: $80,736.40 per year with step increments per Salary Schedule 83, after 12 months of service and annually thereafter.
Work Schedule
Days/Hours: M-F, 30 hours per week, in person; work schedule subject to change based on needs of the department.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
The working conditions for this position will be primarily in an office space. The physical requirement for this position will require constant sitting, occasional standing, occasional bending, occasional walking, and occasionally lifting 10 lbs. or less.
