Job Summary:
The Banquet & Dining Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all banquet functions and social events while overseeing daily dining operations. This role ensures a high level of service, seamless event execution, and exceptional experience for members and guests. Responsibilities include managing event logistics, coordinating with culinary and service teams, and maintaining quality standards across all dining and banquet services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for member service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lead by example, in a fast-paced, member-focused environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Previous experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or banquet/event management (country club experience a plus)
· Proficiency in POS systems, Microsoft Office, Excel & Outlook, and event management software
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
· Exceptional customer service and communication skills
· Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality experiences
· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
· Knowledge of food, beverage, and service standards
· Professional demeanor with a commitment to member satisfaction
· SERV Safe and RAMP certification preferred
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Plan and execute all member and guest banquet events
· Work collaboratively with Club committees and members to help establish and enhance club social events and dining, ensuring food and service align with the Club’s social calendar and member interests
· Actively engage with members during dining hours and events to build relationships and continuously improve the dining experience
· Work closely with the Executive Chef and General Manager to plan and execute all club events, private functions, and dining experiences
· Ensure proper setup, staffing, and breakdown of all dining and banquet events
· Maintain consistency in service standards, appearance, and professionalism across all food and beverage outlets
