Molding Process Technician

JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Follow daily production schedules and assigned

priority rankings - Perform accurate setup of injection molds, end-of-arm tooling, robots, grinders, and related equipment - Troubleshoot molding machines and adjust processes to bring parts into specification for size, appearance, flash, splay, cycle time, and quality - Process a variety of materials, including but not limited to ABS, PC, PP, and Noryl - Measure and visually inspect molded products for surface and dimensional defects using precision measuring instruments - Enter production data into the ERP system, including machine downtime, scrap, and maintenance information - Initiate and submit maintenance work orders for equipment and molds as needed - Contribute daily toward achieving departmental efficiency targets and minimizing scrap rates - Verify presses are running at standard cycle times and report any variances - Maintain organization, cleanliness, and a safe work environment at all times - Identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities related to molds, presses, changeovers, and processes - Communicate issues and concerns to the supervisor promptly as they arise - Complete all assigned reports and required documentation accurately and on time \*\** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: - 3-5 years of injection mold setting experience - 1-2 years of material handling experience - 3-5 years of process startup experience - 3-5 years of process troubleshooting experience - Strong interpersonal, decision-making, time management, and basic math skills - Ability to work independently or as part of a team - Effective communication skills with colleagues, associates, and management - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Basic computer proficiency, along with solid math and reading comprehension skills - Ability to work safely on a production floor \*\** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: teresa.considine@qpsemployment.com Apply Online: https://jobs.qpsemployment.com/jobs/804660 This position is listed by a private employment agency.
