Job Summary

  • Dispenses clinic supplies, materials, and instruments for all patient care activity and preclinical activity.
  • Prepares various packages and kits for distribution, and ensures tracking of assets.
  • Ensures proper utilization and compliance with clinic equipment loan policies and procedures.
  • Takes inventory of instruments and maintains inventory level and records. Identifies and replaces instruments as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED).

Preferred

  • Dental assisting program graduate strongly preferred.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Required

  • 2 years of related experience.

SKILLS

Required

  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Maintains a high degree of professionalism.
  • Demonstrated time management and priority setting skills.
  • Demonstrates a high commitment to quality.
  • Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Working Conditions / Demands

This role requires sedentary work as well as extended durations of moving about the workplace. It requires the ability to move objects and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds, and the ability to discern between various objects and devices and to position patients. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.

Advertised Salary

$18.00 - 20.00 per hour based on experience and internal equity.
