Position Summary:
This position exists to assist the campus and AVP of HR in managing the daily operations of the Human Resources Office with an emphasis on compensation, organizational design, HR analytics, projects and process improvement. This position is responsible for the analysis, administration, and support of the design and maintenance of compensation programs that ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with applicable laws and organizational policies. This role conducts market pricing, job evaluations, salary structure analysis, compensation audits, and supports annual compensation planning processes. This position reviews, analyzes and evaluates compensation processes, identifies needs, and develops strategies to maximize opportunities. Documents requirements, defines scope and objectives and develops and refines processes and tools that support alignment with university strategies and operational needs. Supports compensation policy development and revision by providing analysis and recommendations. Manages and disseminates HR policy and process information in electronic, published, and verbal forms. Required to interact with stakeholders, system architects and various subject experts. Works well with limited supervision, considerable latitude and regularly uses independent judgement. Relies on experience and self-judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
