Supervisor of St. Cloud Area Adult Basic Education (ABE)

Job Description

Based at Quarryview Education Center, this leadership role combines educational administration, operational leadership, fiscal management, and community partnership development. The Supervisor will oversee consortium operations, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, manage grant funding, supervise staff across multiple locations, and support the continued growth and innovation of Adult Basic Education programming.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who can balance strategic planning, regulatory compliance, staff development, and community engagement while maintaining a strong commitment to equitable access and student success for diverse and non-traditional learners.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Overseeing federal and state grant funding, budgeting, reporting, and compliance
  • Supervising licensed and non-licensed staff across consortium locations
  • Leading staff evaluation, onboarding, coaching, and professional development initiatives
  • Supporting curriculum development, career pathway programming, and instructional innovation
  • Building partnerships with workforce centers, employers, chambers of commerce, and community organizations
  • Expanding access to ESL, GED, digital literacy, and workforce readiness programming
  • Serving as a public advocate and representative for Adult Basic Education throughout the region

Required Qualifications:

  • Director of Community Education or K-12 Administrative License
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in staff supervision, evaluation, and professional development
  • Experience with grant management, data analytics, and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Adult Basic Education programming and compliance
  • Knowledge of Student Information Systems and program management software

Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
