1.0 FTE Teacher/ Coordinator for Mohawk Trail Vocational Summer Program

We are interested in hiring a Teacher/Coordinator to plan and deliver a summer program for students currently enrolled in the MTRS Mohawk Trail Vocational Program, and who will enroll in the 23-day summer program at MTRS

The ideal candidate will be expected to:

• Plan and develop a schedule of activities for students and staff prior to the start of the program
• Have experience working in a comparable Vocational Program environment
• Demonstrate the ability to plan a variety of activities for students in the program, both at MTRS and with community partners
• Collaborate with Transportation, Food Services, and Nursing Services in relation to students in the program
• Work with the Director of Student Services to confirm student participation
• Line-manage a team of 1:1 teaching assistants tasked with supporting students in the program
• Liaise with building administration to ensure that health and safety, emergency procedures, and processes are followed during
• Salary: 184 Hours: 161 hours of Direct Instruction and 23 hours of Prep. $35 per hour, 8 hours a day (7 am - 3 pm. Students in the program from 8 - 2:30)
• An additional planning stipend of $500 is available for the successful candidate
