JOB REQUIREMENTS: Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Repair: Servicing

compressors, condensers, and evaporators. Diagnostics: Identifying faults in electrical and mechanical components. Installation: Setting up new refrigeration systems in commercial settings. Compliance: Ensuring EPA-certified handling of refrigerants. Documentation: Updating work orders and documenting repairs. Required Skills & Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training is highly preferred. Certification: EPA Type I & II Certification (mandatory for many roles). Experience: Often 2+ years of experience in HVAC/R, though entry-level positions exist. Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, work on ladders, and operate in confined spaces.
