Engineering a world of possibilities The NOAA Cooperative Institute for Research to Operations in Hydrology (CIROH), is hiring for an hourly Research Support position, working with Mines faculty (Research Prof. Andy Wood) and external project team members. The researcher will conduct geospatial data processing and analysis for large Earth Science datasets (100s of gigabytes) using common coding languages (e.g., Python) on high performance computing (HPC) systems. The researcher will also prepare presentations for project meetings and possible science conference participation, contribute analyses and writing to publications, and prepare datasets for dissemination to the research community.
