What You Can Expect As our Senior Controls Engineer, you will support and maintain critical industrial control systems across utility and power generation assets, with primary focus on the Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plant at The Ohio State University. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving control systems including PLCs, distributed control systems (DCS), industrial networks, and historian platforms. The position requires a self-directed engineer capable of supporting real-time operations, commissioning activities, and long-term system reliability. This position participates in on-call rotation and may require support outside normal business hours. This role will report to the Automation Manager.
