Senior Industrial Automation Controls Engineer Location: 13900 N Lincoln Blvd, Edmond, OK 73013 Engagement: Contract, 1+ month with potential extension Shift: 1st shift | Hours: 7:00–4:00 or 8:00–5:00 | Days: Monday–Friday A day in this role You start your day on site in Edmond, partnering closely with the Vice President of Engineering. A customer spec lands on your desk—by mid-morning you’ve translated it into a practical controls architecture, balancing PLC logic, motion profiles, and HMI flow. After lunch, you draft schematics in AutoCAD, finalize a bill of materials, and send panel machining drawings to manufacturing. You jump into a quick call with sales to prep for a prospect demo, then wrap by validating I/O mappings and documenting results in the project record.
