Job Overview: Instructors provide on-site facilitation of a structured Cognitive Behavioral Curriculums to designated criminal justice populations in the facility. Each model curriculum includes facilitating the integration of core components of cognitive behavioral interventions. Two project design models, designed by the University of Cincinnati can be employed, based on programming offered within specific KDOC facilities. Heavy emphasis is placed on skill building activities to assist with cognitive, social, emotional, and coping skill development. Each program screens targeted incarcerated individuals who meet particular criteria.
