Job Description Title: Field Technician (1099 Contractor) Reports To: Business Contact ROLE SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: The Deployment Technician will upgrade parking meters across downtown Minneapolis. This role is responsible for replacing a small internal piece of the meter machine and conducting testing on the equipment afterwards. Project is scheduled to begin July 2026 and anticipated until early Fall 2026, working Monday – Friday outdoors up to 8 hours a day. Hours are flexible and are dependent on when the keys will be administered to allow access to the parking meters and city hours. This is a 1099 contractor role, on call as needed.
