This position is responsible for the security, custody, control and rehabilitation of persons in our care at the Waupun State Farm, assuming total responsibility for post operations. The Correctional Sergeant (Sgt.) provides direct supervision of minimum security persons in our care who are working on this BCE team, and orients and directs persons in our care to perform a variety of farm work assignments. This position coordinates, develops, maintains and provides security for the persons in our care activities to include work assignments at the farm locations. This position assures strict compliance with the rules and standards of persons in our care working on this BCE team.
